How does it work?
The automated damage detection algorithms (ADDA) allows you to identify and monitor possible changes in your artworks after transportation, storage, loan or a restoration.
Based on the comparison of two scans performed before and after an event, the system is able to detect high precision variations that happened on the surface of your artworks. In case of a damage or abusive restoration, we will advise you to perform an evaluation with a condition report and will direct you towards professionals for a detailed diagnosis.
Sample ADDA result over visible light only (UV, NIR and Topography available too) with apparent scratches and water stains highlighted in red.
Compare the condition over time
Capturing artworks DNA at different times enables you to monitor their condition after transport, storage & restoration.
ADDA uses image processing algorithms to compare two scans of the same artwork done at different times. Allowing not only to detect whether it is the same artwork that was scanned the 1st time, but also compare the conditions and determine to which extend the artwork may have been damaged or restored.
As the technology reacts to the slightest changes of condition invisible to the naked-eye (in infrared, ultraviolet and topography as well), an artwork scanned with ARTMYN technology becomes unforgeable.
